      James Talbot - 22 years, residence - Eramosa, born Boston, United States, bachelor, farmer, Parents were Richard and Joanna Talbot, married Sarah Jane Murphy - 18 years, residence- Eramosa, Place of birth - Eramosa, Spinster, parents were John and Elizabeth Murphy. Names and residences of witnesses: Thomas James Copeland, Mary Ann Murphy both of Eramosa, February 17th, 1870 at the Methodist Episcopal Parsonage in Eramosa. The bridegroom was Episcopal Methodist, and bride's religion was the Church of England. Married by Moses Dominick (minister) by license , Division Eramosa, County Wellington. Note - 1871 Census - James' religion was listed as Church of England.
